It is hard to sum up a collection like this, but if I had to in one line, it would be that:

This collection provides a different perspective on life.

 Thoughts *Possible Spoilers*

My first impression of the collection was the concept of growing up; particularly in the first two poems “Sometime Soon” – where the title in itself portrays hope and future and “Rocket Dreams” – giving a childlike title, but more mature ideas: “licking the edge of continents of crops;”

Moving on, the collection then gives the feeling, of what I can only describe as being, life. Particularly in “The year of rain” I felt that Graham took a concept as simple as  rain and turned it into something very human and that I could relate to –
